As Tropical Storm lee approached the northeast, people were told to leave their homes and seek safety. The storm hit Pennsylvania hard, leaving two people dead. On Wednesday night in Derry Township a 71 year old man died trying to get water out of his basement when the walls caved in. Proving how devastating this tropical storm has become.
Little Creek fishing, an area near Lancaster County started to flood over its banks, causing damage to several homes and businesses. A local resident recalled what he had seen saying. "I knew it was going to flood, but I didn't expect it to come up this far. I looked at it this morning and it was rising about 6-7 inches every 20 minutes."
This isn't even the end . According to the National Weather Service there is still another 2 to 6 inches of rain left in store for the next couple days and as many as 10 inches in some areas.
