Google Wallet

First smartphones were introduced to the world, now Google has come up with the next technology. Google Wallet is the newest technology that stores people’s credit card information in their android phones. To use the credit card, people simply swipe their phones at the cashier.

Google is slowly adding all the major credit cards such as American express, visa, and discover. This is another way for the international search engine to expand its consumer base, and allow users to use Google offline.

Google solved the question that was on many consumers’ minds, does this technology prevent credit card theft. The answer to this question is yes; Google has come up with a four-digit pin that every user must enter before accessing their credit card information. Additionally after a set amount of time the user is required to re-enter the pin.

While Google is first to come out with this technology, Apple can’t be far behind.
