Narco Submarines

Drug traffickers have continued to outsmart authorities with their innovative ways to smuggle drugs into countries. The newest invention is the narco submarine. This submarine is capable of staying off the radar, holding up to 10 tons of cocaine depending on the size, and has the ability to stay under water for weeks.

Pabloe Escobar was involved in producing narco subs for smuggling before he decided to leave that business behind. “Innovations in drug trafficking come when the situation hits a crisis state.”

While authorities thought that was smart, drug traffickers came out with an addition to the narco submarines. This new addition is called the “torpedo,” it is attached to boats and comes equipped with radio controlled recovery system. If the navy ever captures the boat, the torpedo can be recovered by smugglers days or weeks later.

Google Wallet

First smartphones were introduced to the world, now Google has come up with the next technology. Google Wallet is the newest technology that stores people’s credit card information in their android phones. To use the credit card, people simply swipe their phones at the cashier.

Google is slowly adding all the major credit cards such as American express, visa, and discover. This is another way for the international search engine to expand its consumer base, and allow users to use Google offline.

Google solved the question that was on many consumers’ minds, does this technology prevent credit card theft. The answer to this question is yes; Google has come up with a four-digit pin that every user must enter before accessing their credit card information. Additionally after a set amount of time the user is required to re-enter the pin.

While Google is first to come out with this technology, Apple can’t be far behind.

Taxes Paid And No Garbage Pickups

September 19, 2011 shipoke residents were given a warning that they must clean up all the debris from the storm within two days. There are piles of wood, wallboard, and other materials outside on the streets, causing a hazard to public safety.

City officials have given residents a deadline and have refused to help get rid of the debris, putting residents in panic. Residents of the community claim that they had not been notified that the garbage pickup would stop.

One resident of the community Tony Sangrey mentions "They told us three days after they stopped picking up the garbage that they were no longer going to pick up garbage, so for three days we put garbage out with an expectation."

The community is more upset by the fact that city officials did not notify them until last minute. On top of the warning, if the garbage is not removed within two days residents will be fined, causing outrage among the community. Issues like these make citizens of America realize, what are our taxes for?

India's New Way

Cheaper shipping rates are what every online buyer desires, and now they have a way to get it.

A new site in India called FlipKart.com has come up with a new way to allow its customers to save money on shipping. FlipKart delivers items for free. On top of that great deal, customers do not have to pay for their items till they arrive.

A customer of FlipKart, Mr.Kumar says, “I think it perfectly fits the Indian mentality,”

Many Indians feel uncomfortable using credit cards online to pay for items, hence why this is the perfect way for them to shop online and increase consumer base. The site made over $11 million dollars last year, showing that this is one idea that is not wrong.

There may be a great deal of competition in store if Amazon decides to spread to India. Maybe the United States should try this!
